Lamb Of God Turns Down Metallica Tour To Work On New Album |

"Metal Injection correspondent Metal Nick, hit up the HALO OF LOCUSTS show in Baltimore this weekend, and managed to speak to vocalist Randy Blythe who also happens to be the vocalist of a little band you may have heard of called LAMB OF GOD.
"Randy spilled the beans that the band is heading into the studio in September to record the follow-up to Sacrament, which meant that he wouldn't be doing Halo for a while.
"He also mentioned that the band turned down a tour with METALLICA to be able to finish recording this record. Very interesting because Metallica is usually known for bringing hard rock and nu-metal acts with them (GODSMACK come to mind), so at least they are trying to bring some bands with talent on the road with them!"
