ARMORED SAINT TO PLAY ROCKLAHOMA AND MEXICO CITY! |

Armored Saint is set to play this year’s Rocklahoma festival in Oklahoma as well as a show in Mexico for the first time ever! They’ll be playing Rocklahoma on Friday, July 11th along with Living Colour, Night Ranger, Lita Ford, Extreme & more! The Mexico City show will be at the Circo Volador on Saturday, May 31st. Sharing the stage with them that night will be Fueled By Fire, Strikemaster & Voltax.
Here’s what vocalist John Bush had to say about the upcoming shows:
“I'm super excited to be playing Rocklahoma 2008. Armored Saint has played many awesome European festivals, however, other than the Iowa jam in 1986, we never have played an American one. Rocklahoma drew an enthusiastic crowd last year and I believe this year’s lineup is just as good and more diverse. Armored Saint doesn't play a lot of shows so when we do, we give our everything. No doubt about it we will be ready. Expect high energy, which is exactly what I'll be expecting from the crowd in return.
Mexico City has one of the best audiences in the world. The two times I played there with Anthrax the shows were superb. After all, 3/5th of this band is Mexican and Gonzo and Phil were born in Mexico City so for the Saint to never take the stage there would be a travesty. There are only a couple places on planet earth that AS has yet to tackle and this is one of them. I'm looking forward to a passionate show.”
