KITTIE
w/ Walls of Jericho, 36 Crazyfists, Dead to Fall, & In This Moment
TICKETS: $15.00
Kittie was founded in 1996 by sisters Mercedes and Morgan Lander when they were barely on the cusp of adolescence. Now at the ages of 21 and 23, they are accomplished musicians, writers and well seasoned veterans of the industry. They were just 15 and 17 years of age when their first C.D., “Spit”, was released on NG/Artemis records. “Spit” was quickly Certified Gold and to date, they have sold well over 1,250,000 units worldwide with 3 Albums and 2 EP’s under their belts. Kittie have toured extensively, played with such notables as Slipknot and Pantera, co-headlined Second Stage at Ozzfest, co-headlined Snowcore, performed on the Conan O’Brien and Later Shows and hosted MTV’s Head Banger’s Ball. Kittie have managed to stand out and be noticed in the very competitive world of Metal. Their incisive brand of music has definitely taken them into uncharted territory. Never before have an all female heavy metal band impacted on such a male dominated genre. Every time they step on stage they make history.

Mike, Carlos, David, Chris, and Bob started Scars Of Tomorrow in October of 2000 with many common goals, one of them being to create a sound that reflected their love of east coast hardcore and the familiar sound of the California scene that they all had been a part of for so long. Scars Of Tomorrow released two full lengths via Thorp Records and released their Victory debut in February of 2004, called Rope Tied To The Trigger. Emerging from the depths of Southern California’s now notorious metalcore scene like a bat out of hell, Scars Of Tomorrow are back with their follow up. REVEREND HORTON HEAT
w/ Murder By Death & The Tossers
TICKETS: $17.00
Undeniably, The Reverend Horton Heat, aka Jim Heath, is the biggest, baddest, grittiest, greasiest, greatest rocker that ever piled his hair up and pounded the drinks down. Without question, for all of his outlandish antics, blistering stage performances and legendary musical prowess, the one thing The Rev always gets asked about is the story behind his unusual and rather clerical moniker. “Well, there used to be this guy who ran this place in Deep Ellum, Texas who used to call me Horton- my last name is Heath,” says The Rev. “Anyway, this guy hired me and right before the show he goes, ‘Your stage name should be Reverend Horton Heat! Your music is like gospel’…and I thought it was pretty ridiculous. So I’m up there playing and after the first few songs, people are saying, ‘Yeah, Reverend!’ What’s really funny is that this guy gave up the bar business, and actually became a preacher! Now he comes to our shows and says, ‘Jim, you really should drop this whole Reverend thing.’” It’s been an almost 20-year journey for Heath, whose country-flavored punkabilly and onstage antics have brought him and his band a strikingly diverse fan base and a devoted cult following, not to mention the respect of fellow musicians worldwide.
