BUSH frontman GAVIN ROSSDALE says that the reunion of his band this year is "very exciting." Rossdale told Billboard that he reformed Bush after touring for his solo album Wanderlust back in 2008. Rossdale said that being "in Bush, the band you're basically born to be in, it's like a suit of armor." Rossdale describes the band's new album, Everything Always Now, which is set to be released this fall, as "heavy," but says it doesn't repeat former Bush albums. He says that "you want to make songs that people really care about, but you also don't want to repeat yourself." Bush is playing at the Epicenter festival in Fontana, California on September 25th but Rossdale says there won't be a full tour until 2011. However, he said that Bush might release an EP prior to their album's release that will feature "two tracks from the album and two or three other songs just to bridge the gap and...start to build it." Rossdale is also appearing on CARLOS SANTANA's new covers album, which is out on September 21st, singing the T. REX song "Bang a Gong (Get It On)."
