CHIMAIRA SIGN NEW RECORD DEAL WITH EONE MUSIC, NEW RECORD DUE THIS YEAR |

New York, NY) — Veteran Cleveland metal act CHIMAIRA has signed a new record deal with eOne Music for North America, South America and Japan. "We would like to thank Scott Givens and eOne. We are excited to start the new decade with a team that believes in our music, has our back and thinks outside the box. eOne are one of the very few labels out there who still give a damn about the genre and Chimaira are proud to be a part of that. Expect great things in 2011," says front man Mark Hunter. CHIMAIRA released their album "The Infection" back in 2009 to serious critical acclaims with hit singles "Secrets of the Dead" and "Destroy and Dominate" which claimed the #30 spot on the Billboard Top 200 chart. Their most recent effort was a three disc live DVD, which also features a documentary about the band called "Coming Alive". Over the past 10 years, the band has sold close to 500,000 albums. The band is currently in the studio working on their next full length, which will be released later this year. |

COUGH: Announce Dates With MAGRUDERGRIND, Extensive European Tour |

Richmond, VA’s COUGH will be touring to and from Texas for South By Southwest with Washington, DC’s MAGRUDERGRIND. This run will kick-off next in Philadelphia and also include DROP DEAD and THOU on select dates. A listing of confirmed tour dates and cities can be found in the tour section.
COUGH has also added more dates to their nearly 2-month-long European tour. This headlining tour will be making stops at 49 European cities, including performances at the already-sold-out Roadburn Festival in the Netherlands and the SWR Barroselas Metalfest in Portugal. COUGH are touring in support of their recently released Relapse debut Ritual Abuse. Ritual Abuse saw its international release in late October on CD, LP, and digitally. The album is currently streaming in its entirety at this location: cough666.info. |

REVOCATION: To Appear On Guitar Asylum TV |

REVOCATION will appear on this weekend’s edition of Guitar Asylum TV with host Rusty Cooley. Guitar Asylum TV airs on Houston, TX’s Channel 55 every Saturday evening at 12:30am and is made available for streaming online the following day. This weekend’s episode features REVOCATION guitarists Dave Davidson and Dan Gargiulo jamming backstage and discussing their songwriting. REVOCATION are on tour now with legendary technical metal band ATHEIST for a handful of U.S. tour dates. The band has also been confirmed for the annual New England Metal and Hardcore Festival held in mid-April in Worcester, MA. A listing of confirmed tour dates can be found in the tour section.
REVOCATION are also putting the finishing touches on their new as-yet-untitled full-length album. The band recently recorded tracks at Damage Studios in Southbridge, Massachusetts with engineer Pete Rutcho. The follow-up to the band’s break-through Relapse debut Existence Is Futile is expected to see its release in summer 2011. Former DEICIDE members Eric Hoffmann (guitar) and Brian Hoffman (guitar) recently resurrected their pre-DEICIDE band AMON with Jesse "Jecheal" Jolly (PROMETHEAN HORDE, DIABOLIC, SUCCESS WILL WRITE APOCALYPSE ACROSS THE SKY, AFTER DEATH) on vocals/bass and and Mike Petrak (LEPROSY, SUCCESS WILL WRITE APOCALYPSE ACROSS THE SKY) on drums. The Florida-based quartet entered RedRoom Recorders in Tampa on December 10, 2010 with producer Mark Prator to begin recording its new album, entitled "Liar In Wait". The CD will consist of nine songs and will be made available later in the year via AMON's own record label. |

According to the Daily Mail, former IRON MAIDEN singer Paul Di'Anno (real name: Paul Andrews) was jailed today after he falsely collected U.K. government benefits by claiming he suffered nerve damage to his back that prevented him from working. |
