LAMB OF GOD will release their fifth studio album Wrath, on February 24th, 2009. The record will be released in North America by Epic and will be the first release with their new label Roadrunner outside of North America. Wrath is produced by Josh Wilbur and was recorded in studios in New York, Virginia, and New Hampshire. |

Dayton, Ohio's BROTHER VON DOOM spared no expense in enlisting Andreas Magnusson (THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, THE ACACIA STRAIN, SUICIDE SILENCE) to produce and Fredrik Nordström (AT THE GATES, DIMMU BORGIR, ARCH ENEMY, IN FLAMES) to mix "Relentless". The sound is pulled tighter than a trampoline and every note played is precise beyond belief, almost to the point of sterility if one were to split hairs. No one can say that the boys can't play their instruments though. The guitar work overwhelms with an overflow of ATG harmonies and impeccable interplay. Truth be told, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER worship is getting a little played out these days, largely because some of the act's personality gets sucked out of the air in the process. |

SOILWORK: Early Albums To Be Reissued With Bonus Tracks |

Listenable Records has announced plans to re-release the classic first albums from Swedish metallers SOILWORK. "Steelbath Suicide" (1998) and "The Chainheart Machine" (1999) will be reissued in deluxe super jewelcases with revamped artwork and contain various bonus tracks. Out of print for a while, these re-releases are a "must-have for any SOILWORK fan who missed the originals while the various bonus materials make it worth for die-hard fans to get these gems again," the label says in a press release.
SOILWORK was recently rejoined by guitarist Peter Wichers.
The band will be on tour with ONE-WAY MIRROR in Europe this November and December. Shortly afterSOILWORK will headline a massive North American tour to begin in late January 2009 with DARKANE, WARBRINGER, and SWALLOW THE SUN. |
