The band has steadily gained a reputation as one of the current resurgent death metal scene's leading lights. Their unrelenting brutality and technicality have earned them the respect of fans worldwide. Prior to this SEVERE TORTURE will join Earache label mates MUNICIPAL WASTE and ANATA and a host of extreme talent at this years Maryland Deathfest.

The eight legged thrash machine that is Municipal Waste are the latest addition to the prestigious Carling Weekend festival to be held at Reading and Leeds on the weekend of August 25th to the 27th where they will be bringing a touch of the Hazardous Mutation to the Lock Up Stage. The UK is still quite frankly feeling the shockwaves from the Waste’s last trip over here with labelmates and fellow bruisers Mistress so the prospect of hearing the new heroes of thrashcore tearing through classics like ‘The Thrashin’ Of The Christ’, ‘Bangover’ and ‘Terror Shark’ has us chomping at the bit already.
The Waste will be playing at the Reading show on the Friday 25th and then hauling ass up to Leeds for Saturday 26th, as ever, boogie boards, circle pits and inflatable sharks are mandatory.

DON CABALLERO Release First New Album In Five Years; Announce Tour Plans --- |

Seminal instrumental band DON CABALLERO see the North American release of World Class Listening Problem, its newest record and first in almost five years, today (Tuesday May 16th).
World Class Listening Problem marks the first recorded work by the band's new incarnation (founder and drummer extraordinaire Damon Che, bassist Jason Jouver, and guitarists Gene Doyle and Jeff Ellsworth) and is set for release outside North America on May 22nd.
The ten song effort was recorded by the band’s longtime producer Al Sutton (THE LAUGHING HYENAS, BIG CHIEF) at Sutton's Rustbelt Studios and mastered by Alan Douches (THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, MASTODON) at West West Side Studios. DON CABALLERO has also announced tour plans in support of World Class Listening Problem, which will mark the band’s first extensive set of dates in well over a year. DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN bassist Liam Wilson has been nominated by PETA2 in their second annual ‘“World’s Sexiest Vegetarian” poll.
Voting is taking place at PETA2.com now, the direct voting link can be found here: http://www.peta2.com/OUTTHERE/o-sexyveg06.asp?c=p2sv64%22%3eClick. This is Wilson’s second year of being nominated amongst other high-profile musicians and actors who are vegetarians. Additionally, Wilson appeared in a nation-wide print advertising campaign for PETA2 earlier this year advocating the organization’s efforts to inform people about the vegetarian lifestyle.
